The present theatre was designed by Carlo Mollino. It has 139 boxes arranged in five rows, with a total seating capacity of 2,500 persons. The attractive façade was saved from the fire, while the new, modern interior has large windows and marbles. Note the symbol of the city (the bull) is inlaid in the floor of the Sala del Toro.
