Situated just outside the main historic town centre, the large centre brings together a collection of smaller museums under one roof; including the Pagan Museum and the Museum of Christian Art. The exhibition is wide and varied and contains a great deal of artefacts that have been discovered in this area of the world whilst excavation has been taking place.
