Archeological Museum of the Bijloke
In 1928 the collections of the Archeological Museum of Gent were transferred to the former buildings of the Bijloke Abbey from which it is named the BIJLOKE MUSEUM.
This abbey was a convent of Cistercian nuns, founded by the Gent patrician family Utenhove in the 13th century.
